This Yoga Therapy for Parkinson's class is meant to address Motor-Movement Symptoms. It is specifically designed to provide targeted support and relief for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. It combines the therapeutic benefits of yoga with tailored techniques to address motor-movement symptoms associated with Parkinson’s. Led by an experienced yoga therapist trained in Parkinson’s-specific interventions, this class focuses on improving balance, flexibility, posture, and coordination. At Aum Home Shala we understand that Parkinson affects everyone differently, and the sessions are designed to accommodate mobility limitations, balance issues, and other Parkinson’s-related symptoms. Through a series of gentle and modified yoga poses, participants will engage in movements that aim to alleviate rigidity, enhance range of motion, and promote overall physical well-being. Our supportive and inclusive environment encourages participants to progress at their own pace, providing modifications and adaptations to accommodate individual needs and abilities. The class also offers opportunities for social connection and mutual support among participants, creating a sense of community and understanding.
