Peaceful Interludes — The Hypnosis Fix
When there is scatteredness and overwhelm, a good daily practice—just a few minutes—is to enter into self-hypnosis to set or remind ourselves of our intentions. For example, the intention to live with integrity, to be aware of thought patterns and habits, to sense how our environment affects us in a good way or bad way. This process creates awareness of the here and now. It allows the slowing down of time to contemplate possible scenarios and consequences related to realizing our aspirations.
Self-hypnosis promotes peace, stability and patience. It is a way to stay still and in silence as a conscious activity. During life’s stressful periods, these peaceful interludes enable us to connect with our inner wisdom and intuition while giving our body and executive mind a welcome timeout. Soon enough, we come out of this brief interlude refreshed and ready to serenely process our intentions into actions. To schedule a session, contact Catherine A.
