True Colon Hydrotherapy Spa’s first location was established in Puerto Rico in 2011 by Laura Hernández after her endless quest to win the fight against extensive use and dependency on laxative consumption. The general guidance and misconception of many health practitioners took her on a dangerous path of more than 19 years struggling with many health-related issues. Eight years later, after hard work and a vast combination of diverse educational disciplines mainly focused on colon health, her dream of sharing a natural alternative to a most common problem comes to life with her second location in the beautiful city of Fort Lauderdale.

Areas of specialty: ColonLavage prep (trained and certified by Dr. Chris Demetriou, GI Doctors of NY), mainly used for prep prior to radiological or endoscopic examination, produces better bowel cleansing and increases patient safety as compared to conventional bowel prep. Abdominal massage using full-spectrum hemp oil prior to colonic session for bowel stimulation and overall relaxation.
