The importance of adding a Tagline to your Premium Listing
Place content in the Tagline field, even if you don't have a tagline!
To modify your Premium Listing (using your email as your username): sign in (for Palm Beach Listings) or sign in (for Broward County Listings). From the menu at the bottom of the page select Manage > Business Listings.
The tagline is bolded text placed at the top of the description section of your Premium Listing. It is part of your Business Basics section and is not available with a free listing. Some companies have placed their actual tagline there. Other companies have taken advantage of this space/field to convey important information about their business that draws the reader in, much like a title for your description.
Since this information stands out, advertisers suggest keeping it relatively short. Be thinking of the reader. A primary benefit may be the tagline. Highlighting the particular solution may be used in the tagline field. What solutions do you offer?
If the first paragraph in your description focuses on one particular topic, the tagline may be an introductory statement regarding that topic.
If short, consider your mission statement as a tagline.
A tagline could also be a statement of how you differentiate your company from your competitors. How do you stand out from the crowd? What are your strengths at a business?
