Mark your calendar for November 10, to attend South Florida’s first ever zero-waste festival focused on “Everything under the Sea!”, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Anne Kolb Nature Center, in Hollywood.
Co-hosted by Audubon of Fort Lauderdale, OceanFest is an expo-style event with the objective of increasing public awareness about the ocean threats that plague our communities. This is a call-to-action to ride the waves of change and join in a fun-filled day. Waves of fun include exploring Reef Village; having your photo taken with real-life mermaids; raffles and giveaways; games; edible delights; music; artisans’ village; educational demos and more!
The mission is to spread awareness about conservation issues in a fun and exciting way. Attend and help make a difference.
Theme-based educational and/or exhibitor spaces may still be available at this printing. For more information, visit Broward.org/Parks/Rentals/Pages/VendorInformation.aspx.
If you cannot attend but would like to support, OceanFest is accepting goods and services for their raffle and goodie bags. They thank you for any support you may provide.
