Deborah Wolford is an award winning fine art wildlife, nature and equine photographer in South Florida. She is currently engaged in the public art project “Enlivening Dania Beach’s Empty Storefronts” through a grant awarded by the Creative Artists Advancement Program of the Broward Cultural Division and the National Endowment for the Arts, in collaboration with the City of Dania Beach and its Community Redevelopment Agency.
Starting late August, inside empty storefront windows on Federal Highway in Dania Beach, Wolford will exhibit her photographs featuring nature and the wildlife of Dania Beach and South Florida.
Wolford is also hosting a pop-up fine art gallery at Dania Beach City Hall, Tuesday, August 26, with opening reception 5:30-6:30pm. The exhibit will showcase her local and wildlife nature photography as well as art by local artists from Dania Beach and South Florida. Light refreshments will be served.
Dania Beach City Hall is located at 100 West Dania Beach Boulevard. City Hall’s atrium is open weekdays from 8am-5pm for those who may want to see the exhibit after the opening event.
