Free Acupuncture Program for Veterans Needs Aid

The Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine (ATOM), in Fort Lauderdale, has been offering free acupuncture treatments for veterans and active duty military personnel for the past several years. Although treatment protocols for PTSD are a main focus, the program was expanded in June 2014 to include unlimited treatments for most all medical conditions, including addiction.

Developed to assist in the recovery and health of U.S. military personnel and veterans, the program is supported with patient referrals by the VA, VFW and other health care professionals serving veterans. Appointments are available 5 to 9pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 9am to 1pm Saturday.

In order to continue growing and serving veterans and active military personnel who need this help so desperately, ATOM is reaching out for support from the community. They are actively seeking contributions and grants to help support their efforts.

Veterans and U.S. military personnel interested in the program and all those interested in helping with financial support are invited to call 954-763-9840. ATOM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all contributions are tax deductible. ATOM truly appreciates your help. See ad back page.
