“Dreams touch every level of our life. They may let us glimpse the future, or give suggestions for healing, or share insights into our relationships,” writes Harold Klemp in *The Living Word. If you’re not paying attention to your sleeping dreams, you’re missing one-third of your life! Imagine—missing out on one-third of your life!
How would you like to regain that time without giving anything up? You’re probably wondering, “How can I do that?” I’m going to share with you some ideas which, put into action, can result in:
Doesn’t that sound amazing?
The first suggestion is to become a Purposeful Dreamer©. A Purposeful Dreamer is one who uses his sleep with a definite intention. He goes to sleep with a question that needs to be answered. You might have a question regarding a relationship. Ask a question before you go to sleep, write it down in a journal and go to sleep with the question lightly on your mind.
Many years ago, I was in a relationship which wasn’t going anywhere. In fact, it didn’t feel ‘good’ anymore. Before I went to sleep, I asked the question, “What should I do about this relationship?” In the morning I woke knowing exactly what to do.
Good news! You do not have to remember the dream to remember the answer. You may also want to say the affirmation, “I receive and remember the answer to my question in my dream.” Remember to write the answer or dream down upon rising. Start with this step and see what happens. You might want to send an email to let me know of your success.
