Meditation seminar with a disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda in West Palm Beach

Roy Eugene Davis, ordained by Paramahansa Yogananda in 1951, is director of Center for Spiritual Awareness with world headquarters in north Georgia. The 3-hour program, Sunday, January 22, starting at 2 p.m., is on a donation basis. West Palm Beach Embassy Suites Hotel, 1601 Belvedere Road, near the airport. Some forms of meditation that will be taught are breath awareness, mantra, pranayama, and contemplation. A guided practice session will be included. Some of Mr. Davis’ books and free literature will be available.
Meditation studies in recent years indicate that regular, alert practice reduces stress, strengthens the immune system, slows biological aging, enhances appreciation for living, and improves spiritual awareness.
