The Best of Bossa Nova at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Fort Lauderdale, May 10, 8:30pm, will highlight popular Brazilian music, Bossa Nova and Samba with original arrangements in a relaxing, upbeat atmosphere. The stage will be transformed into a glamorous and dynamic lounge theme. Featuring the renowned DJ Erick Paredes and Latin Grammy Award Winner Nestor Torres, the thrill of 40 voices will be accompanied by Jorge L. Sosa, Cezar Santana, Ettienne Fuentes, Daniel Stable and Claudio Silva.
Brazilian Voices Lounge Brazil Concert is part of the Brazilian Voices Concerts & Performances program. The three other permanent and simultaneous programs are: Brazilian Voices Cultural and Educational Program—educating children and adults about Brazil and its culture, language, geography and modernity at museums and schools; Brazilian Voices Arts and Healing Program—singing to patients and their families at hospitals and nursing homes, the voices promote well-being through the healing power of music; and Brazilian Voices Kids—teaching children ages 5-15 from diverse communities, practicing Brazilian songs, a learning process through music.
